Expertise

ShortStop, LLC was created to assist trucking companies in their efforts to meet new federal guidelines in 1988 regarding drug and alcohol testing. Trucking companies had to find a way to have collections done on their drivers in a timely manner. The idea was to create a nationwide network of clinics that were trucker friendly; meaning the clinics were located close to highways, parking available for an 18-wheeler, and walk-in service for collections and breath alcohol testing. Having a drug test would then become a 'short stop' for the driver and company.

We started with 25 collection sites and now work with over 10,000 sites nationwide. Our system is developed to 'match' a collection site to a customer location based on the needs of the customer. If establishing a permanent collection site doesn’t fit the need of the client, then our client service staff will work to establish a site to use on a one-time basis. Again, our system will allow us to find the site best suited to meet the needs of the client.

From the beginning, ShortStop has focused on facilitating drug test collections, alcohol testing and physical exam needs for our customers. We have identified exceptional collection sites who perform to the standards demanded by our clients. We have mastered the ability to handle emergency collection needs 7 days a week, 24 hours a day with unrivaled efficiency. We have even aided our customers in getting their drug collections done across the world. In short, we know how to get it done.

Value

Webster’s Dictionary definition of value is "worth". ShortStop consistently proves its value to clients by actively striving to control the cost of collection. We make it simple for clients to test their employees at convenient, cost-effective collection sites. ShortStop acts as the primary contact for any collection site issues, providing action and resolution in a timely and efficient manner, saving the client time and money.

ShortStop provides additional value by paying collection site invoices and creating consolidated invoices for the client. This allows the client to focus on what they do best while ShortStop focuses on the important issues of managing their drug and alcohol-testing program.

Loyalty

ShortStop’s devotion to its clients is unsurpassed! You will always have the option of speaking to a "live" person. ShortStop can contact you with quarterly assessments of your program and actively offer options to control your program costs. We want to be your long-term partner!

Comprehensive

ShortStop’s comprehensive collection site network is convenient for anyone!

  • A candidate that has been offered a job and is in need of a pre-employment drug test.
  • The recruiter of a new store, tasked to hire 100 people and needs to arrange an on-site event to do mass hiring.
